Hi. I'm Davie; the current moderator of this tribe. The only real power that moderators have is a delete button. So far, I've only used it once in my career here. Mostly, I've found, that ignoring the yahoos who try and disrupt things works best. However, sometimes you have to draw the line. That brings up the purpose of this post. I'd like some help in drawing the line. In other communities that I participate in, virtual or not, having some shared expectations makes things work smoother.

Here's what I suggest:

1. This group is a tribe organized around the concept of intentional community; as a place to share information about communities, ask questions, present ideas for feedback and to keep in touch. We need to be mindful of our purpose.
2. Personal attacks are never appropriate.
